adobe digital editions is installed but program failled .what i can do?

Hi horsebonifacio,

When you say program failed, what exactly happens?

Are you not able to launch the software? Do you get any error messages?

On which OS have you installed ADE?

My OS is Windows 7. I’m too my ADOBE ID

I’have installed sucesfully (¿?) the software 2.0 but when is launch it appear one window wich say : “Adobe digital editions stopped working”

I think in the installation procès it skips one steep, beucause I don’t see two windows (see archive attached).

Hay un montón de errores en ADE2.0 (y 2.0.1). Trate de reemplazar ADE2.0 con la v1.7.2 antiguo pero más confiable.

(Usted puede tener los dos instalados a la vez, si quieres.)

Versión 1.7.2, es un poco difícil de encontrar, disponible en el sitio de Adobe para Windows y para Mac.

Algunas personas han encontrado ADE intentar actualizar de forma automática.

Al parecer (no 100% seguro) que si se instala ADE2.0 como una nueva instalación (no como una actualización) que su 1.7.2 seguirá funcionando.

Probablemente es mejor decir que no si la instalación 2.0.x le pregunta si desea migrar su biblioteca.

There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0 (and 2.0.1).  Try replacing ADE2.0 with the older but more reliable v1.7.2.

(You can have them both installed at once if you like.)

Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.

Some people have found ADE trying to upgrade automatically. 

It appears (not 100% sure) that if you install ADE2.0 as a new install (not as an upgrade) that your 1.7.2 will continue to run.

Probably best to say no if 2.0.x installation asks if you want to migrate your library.

Yo ya tenía la versión 1.7.2.anterior, pero el problema es que esa versión antigua no me reconoce los archivos *.acsm y su asociación con epub.

He comprado ( en mala hora) un ebook en la Casa del Libro protegido con DRM y no lo puedo abrir ni cargar en mi lector (kindle) .

…..Y luego para que hablen de los “piratas” (¿quiénes son?)

Si encuentran alguna solución por favor díganmelo ; yo he buscado por foros y no encuentro nada . ¿Será que solo me pasa a mí?
