Where is it?

I have downloaded Adobe Flash Player 11 Plugin.  One I have completed the installation, I cannot find the program anywhere on my laptop, except for in the "uninstall or change programs" list.  I am working on a lenovo thinkpad.I have tried restarting my computer multiple times in hopes that the program will just appear.  What can I do?

Flash Player ISN'T a program per se. It's a "plugin" for your Browser.

IE - you'll find it under Tools>Manage Add-ons.

Firefox - Tools>Add-ons>Plugins.

Chrome - type "chrome://plugins" in the address bar.

The actual files reside in the C/Windows/System/Macromed/Flash and C/Windows/SysWOW64/Macromed/Flash folders.

It is not listed within my Add-ons Manager in the Plugins tab.

There are two plugins for Windows (3 if you count Chrome, but it's embedded in the browser)

Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)

Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

If you're using IE and Firefox (or Safari or Opera), I recommend downloading and installing BOTH.
