Hi

I am using Robohelp 10 and the output type is Web help.

I have copied only the WebHelp Folder generated to the Weblogic Application Server and not the entire Project Folder generated by the RoboHelp.

Now that I am able to access the help from the URL  as follows

http://localhost:9900/rbh/WebHelp/index.htm,

But when I try to pass the Map Id along to get the Context Sensitive Help , I still am getting the same first starting page, the URL I have used is

http://localhost:9900/rbh/WebHelp/index.htm#<id=3>.

I have copied the Map Id file to the App Server  into the WebHelp Folder. But still Iam not able to get the Context Sensitive Screen.

Am I missing something. Please suggest.

Thanks,

sdesab,

Have you included the context sensitive info in your output? This is

something easily overlooked.

In the SSL settings, go to Content Categories and select the category.

Make sure all files in the section Map Files are checked. Regenerate and

it should work.

William,

Thanks for the tip, verified the Map Files, but it did not resolve the issue.

Can you check the file whcshdata.htm (in the output) in notepad? Do you

see a list of your map id's in this file.

Sdesab,

You have to work with your program designers and determine who will generate the Help Keys (also called Map IDs). The help keys then need to be put into the program so the program knows where to find the help topic. Map IDs are created from the topic's properties on the Advanced tab.

That is a simple explanation. I cannot go beyond that.
