In Mac...the 2 home directories that have to be erased under the "Unintall Flash Player" on the Adobe website. its Step 9

You DO NOT (under any circunstances) want to delete your "home directory". You'll screw up your Mac royally if you do.

There are FILES in that directory that need to be deleted in order to do a "clean install".

To access your "home directory" ([user]/Library) hold the "Option" key when you click "Go" from the Finder menu.
