1. Re: Outlook 2007 crashed complaining that Sendnow was the cause
bob.treitman Dec 2, 2013 8:10 AM (in response to bob3352)What version of Microsoft Outlook are you using?
Are you not seeing the SendNow icons in both the Home window and the Compose window? Or just in one?
If you open that Outlook Options window, do you see "Adobe SendNow for Microsoft Outlook" listed under Active Application Add-ins?

bob3352 Dec 2, 2013 1:34 PM (in response to bob.treitman)Thanks Bob,
I am using Outlook 2007 on that machine. My laptop has 2010 and no
problem with Sendnow there, it works fine.
In digging through the Outlook setup I found a little panel that says
the Sendnow addon has been specifically disabled. It gives me the
option of enabling it but when I do it Outlook immediately crashes
and blames the Sendnow addin when I re-start. I cleaned out mail
boxes etc etc to no avail.
Not sure whether this is associated but it seems as though the
initial crash I had occurred in late October. In checking the MS
updates on the machine a whole series of updates were done in mid
October including several "security" updates to Outlook???

3. Re: Outlook 2007 crashed complaining that Sendnow was the cause
bob.treitman Dec 2, 2013 3:17 PM (in response to bob3352)Thanks for the additional information. It does sound as though Microsoft made a change in Outlook 2007 that is causing a problem for our plugin. I will pass this along to the development team to see if there is anything that they can do.
We would be interested to hear from others running Outlook 2007 to see if they are having problems, as well.

bob3352 Dec 2, 2013 6:37 PM (in response to bob.treitman)Perhaps this will help? This is the "Disabled Items" window.
Enabling the Sendnow Addin from this window causes the crash.

I thought I should run this diagnostic routine
Unspecified "Repairs" were made but no joy by pressing the "Enable" button! Sendnow caused a crash.
