I can't get the flash player to work. It is a recent problem. Since it stopped working, I've downloaded the latest version, I've gone through ALL of the troubleshooting steps on the Adobe website and still, no solution. When I visit a website that requires Adobe Flash Player, I get a message telling me to upgrade to the latest version, tracking me back to Adobe, where I'm told I already have the latest version installed. It's an unending circle. I've even gone so far as to uninstall/reinstall, and I've searched these forums, all to no avail. I have Windows 7 Home Version, the latest Internet Explorer 10, and also the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. I am completely stumped. Can someone help, please!

Thanks for your reply Mike M, but I've done both of those things already and it still doesn't work. Incidentally, I'm using IE10, not IE9, but the ActiveX filtering step is the same for both versions.
