I am using RH 10.0.1.292. I generated the Webhelp output and using IE 8 on Windows XP Professional SP3.

The WebHelp output displays the topics but it is using the styles from the default.css.

I want it to display the styles from the custom .css I have.

The styles work when I generate the Microsoft HTML Help output but not when I generate the WebHelp.

I have applied the .css at the topic level and can see the .css file in the Project Manager under the Style Sheets folder.

I have also selected the .css in the webhelp settings under Content Categories when generating the webhelp.

I did not see the css file in the output webhelp folder, so I put it in there. I do not see a css referenced in the output topic page.

I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Please help!

Have you tried using the “Apply to All” setting in the SSL? That should force the use of the desired css as a workaround.

Yes, I have the Apply to All setting checked as well. Any other suggestions?

That should work – is it located in the root of the project folder?

Yes, the custom .css file is in the root of the project folder; but I

figured out the problem. The name of the .css file had a space in it.

(Application Help.css) Evidently, the space was the issue. When I renamed

it to ApplicationHelp.css, everything worked as it should and the custom

style sheet was applied to the WebHelp output. It is definitely strange

that there is not an issue with the space in the HTML help output but there

is with WebHelp output.
