Hello,

Welcome to Adobe Forums.

1) Launch Task Manager (Keyboard Shortcut : Ctrl+Shift+Esc)

2) Go to Processes Tab

3) Make sure you have clicked on "Show processes from all users"

4) Kill "iexplore.exe" process

Let me know if that works.

Thanks,

Vikram

Bypass the downloader/installer:

Download the following files by right clicking and selecting "Save target as".

Flash Player Uninstaller

Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)

Save ALL files to your Downloads folder - DO NOT RUN anything yet.

Reboot your system.

BEFORE opening anything else, go to your Downloads folder and run the UNINSTALLER to remove Flash Player.

Next, run the ActiveX Installer.

Once it's installed, see:Enabling Flash Player in Internet Explorer  and: ActiveX Filtering in Internet Explorer  to make 100% sure that Flash Player is enabled and NOT being blocked by ActiveX controls.

That means you have Flash Player installed and working.

Try to view Youtube Videos as a confirmation.

Yahoo is just one site that IE11 has had MAJOR problems with. Microsoft is aware of the problem but they're in no hurry to fix it.

I recommend using ANY other browser than IE. Microsoft has clearly shown that they no longer care about Windows users.

Firefox

Opera

Safari

Chrome

Chrime has its own Flash Player. The others need the Flash Player Plug-in (For All other browsers)
