I am running Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 11. I also use the latest version of Firefox. I have installed Adobe Flash Player approximately 10 times. I install, program says the installation is complete, and I restart the system. Some times, I don't restart just to attempt something different. When I attempt to locate the program in my list of programs, it is not there. When I search for it through Run, it is no located. When I go into Uninstall a program, it's there. The program is not working when I try to play a video. Also, when I go to the Adobe site and click on the link to check if the program is installed, it says it is not. Any help would be appreciated.

Flash Player is a browser add-on, not an executable program.

Make sure that the Shockwave Flash object is enabled on all browsers.

Additionally, on Internet Explorer make sure you disable ActiveX Filtering.
