1. Re: SFTP uploads to AU data centre fails leaving 0 byte file on the server
Liam Dilley Dec 5, 2013 2:11 PM (in response to Jupiter)I have seen a few people report this now even with DW. I use Coda2 and while I seen slow speeds and other issues over the last couple of months, not this. You should make a support ticket, state that you are aware of other people having the issues. Give support the software your using and the SFTP settings you use to connect and we will see.

Jupiter Dec 5, 2013 2:20 PM (in response to Liam Dilley)Thanks Liam,
This problem has now taken our site down since the updates included a template - which no longer works.
I'll submit a ticket and see what happens.
Cheers,
Jupiter

psolovyov Jan 24, 2014 1:36 PM (in response to Jupiter)Same here,
try uploading through Site Manager->File Manager
I'm having the same issue on US server. Uploading any files corrupts them(I was using PDF files).
I used Filezilla 3.7.3 - Latest version.

4. Re: SFTP uploads to AU data centre fails leaving 0 byte file on the server
Rannerbananner Mar 6, 2014 11:48 AM (in response to Jupiter)I'm in the same boat, as of this morning. Last night, everything worked fine.
A file upload attempt first thing today via Dreamwever seemed to stall - (I was uploading the main style sheet for a Child Theme, and now I know that uploading 0 bytes worth of style sheet breaks a Child Theme!)
Eventually I switched to Filezilla, and could see that files were transferring at 0 bytes.
I called the host, who suggested I switch Filezilla to SFTP and use port 2222. This corrected the issue on Filezilla but replicating these settings on Dreamweaver breaks the FTP connection - only way I can connect is using the "upload a 0 byte file" settings.
So - Dreamweaver is all of a sudden far less useful.
