No sound following flash update

The flash update reported a new version, no 11.xxx which I agreed to update. after the update I can listen to Spotify, videos on the hard drive, system sounds etc but NO clips on internet, neither youtube or any other sound is available. Eventually I uninstalled flash and the sound came back. But the of course programmes using flash did not work. So reinstalled flash and then again the sound went off. I have tried all possible solutions on different sites but no other works than uninstalling flash.

How do I fix this??

Yes - and it says I have the latest updates.

Hi again

I eventually uninstalled Internet Explorer 11 and that solved it. IE11 also cuased some other strange things such as limiting Outlook Web to the light version. Uninstalling ie11 solved that too.

IE11 has been nothing but trouble from day one. Microsoft ought to be ashamed that they produced such pure garbage.
