Photoshop CC quits immediately upon startup

I purchased the $9.99 photography membership last night and for some reason reason PS CC doesn't work. When I go to launch it, it boots up fine and then just suddenly quits, no error message or anything. I reinstalled everything a few times and it's still the same. A trial version that I previously had installed works great. LR works fine too, so I don't get it.

Try signing out of the CC app, then sign back in.
Verify again, if this does not work let me know.

If it suddenly quits it is most likely a 3rd party font or plugin. Also can be a driver problem. But you say the trial version worked great. Did you install the trial or convert it to payed version?

I removed all plugins before I installed. Could be a font, I did install a few new fonts a while ago. Yeah the trial works great. I unistalled the trial before I signed up. I recently did a clean install of Windows and I still get this issue. My video driver is up to date, I don't think it's an issue cause the trial worked fine and Lightroom and everything else works as normal.

Found this solution to this problem in another discussion on the forum, haven't tried it yet. Looks like a bug in the program and installation peculiar to Win 7 64 bit from the discussion...

There's a fix!

Un-install Photoshop CC.
Un-install Adobe CC.
Go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe and find SLCache and delete it.
Go to: C:\ProgramData\Adobe and find SLStore and delete it.
Restart.
Install Adobe CC.
Install Photoshop.
Restart.

Which version of Windows you running? I'm on 8.1. If you don't restart after every step you would have to delete "C:\ProgramData\Adobe and find SLStore" every time before you launch Ps.

Thanks, I didn't do the last computer restart before launching PS. I went
back now and deleted the file, and it still quits. Now I get an
additional message though - Adobe is checking for a valid license. Must be
making progress...
I'll start all over tomorrow and do ALL the restarts

I'm facing the same issue here. I got the Photography package last night, and everything works except Photoshop CC.

It keeps asking me to update my Adobe profile and continue. When I do that, I get this error "your entry does not match standard addresses in our verification listings."

And I'm not able to open Photoshop CC at all (both 64 and 32 bit). It just quits everytime I open it.

Is there any way to fix this?

I get the update profile every time too but never got that error message. Try the steps a few posts back, it's working for me so far. It's very important to restart after every step. Let us know if it helps.

I went back and repeated the process twice with all the restarts. Program
still fails after start up, and Win shuts it down. I am now getting the
update profile message though, so maybe I am getting closer...

I did a chat with Adobe support and they decided i needed a new graphics
driver. Installed new driver and Ps CC now works!
