What is the path format for a custom button on main window when it is a local help topic? I am using RH9 and trying to setup Button 1 or Button 2 to go to a help topic in my current Help project. Is a Web URL the only thing that works?

Hi there

If the topic is in the root level of the project it is simply the topic file name. If it is inside a folder, it's the folder name/file name.

Cheers... Rick

Cannot get the "Reply to Message" to work on the forum.

Anyway, thanks for the reply. What you suggested was the way I thought it

should work. But, unless I start the path with something like HTTP to

insinuate a web address, the button won't even display.

Hi there

I'm moments away from a meeting but afterwards will create a brief video to show the steps.

Might be as long as two or three hours... Rick

Again, I cannot get the "Reply" to work on the forum.

I appreciate so much Rick, you taking the time to do a video. What is

interesting here is that I was doing the process almost verbatim to your

video, however, this time I went to the topic file properties and copied

the file name like you did, had to add a folder name in front of the file

name and bingo it worked. Apparently, when typing in the path, I was doing

something it did not like. Anyway, mission accomplished and thanks again.
