1. Re: How can I fix this new doc. problem?
Noel Carboni Dec 13, 2013 4:46 PM (in response to pansylou)I suspect you shortened the bottom of the Photoshop window to try to make it like a previous version.
Try this to correct what you did:
1. Drag the bottom edge of the Photoshop window ALL the way to the bottom of the monitor again.
2. Choose the Window menu, and deselect Application Frame to hide the empty Photoshop workspace.

2. Re: How can I fix this new doc. problem?
pansylou Dec 13, 2013 5:07 PM (in response to Noel Carboni)Well the new document is what I see in it's normal size, but the ruler is still in pixels. So you accomplished quite a lot. I guess I can try to workl this way. Do you have any idea how many pixels there are to an inch?
Thank you

Noel Carboni Dec 13, 2013 7:02 PM (in response to pansylou)Great! We're off to a good start.
When you choose File - New, and you have something in your Clipboard (i.e., you copied some image data at some point in the past), the preset will be Clipboard. As I recall for that the units are in pixels.
Also, what do you see in the Photoshop - Preferences - Units and Rulers dialog? Can you post a screenshot?

4. Re: How can I fix this new doc. problem?
pansylou Dec 13, 2013 9:07 PM (in response to Noel Carboni)It was in pixels! I have checked that before, but maybe when I was trying to solve a different problem.
Thank you very much!
