I downloaded the "Download the free Flash Player Now!" and the videos still aren't viewable, I have rebooted the computer, and it stays the same. It is Windows 7 Professional, if that matters... I need to fix this soon. Thanks,

Shockwave flash object is enabled

Same thing happening to me--Flash Player just stopped working.  Spent a few hours last night uninstalling and installing the newest version of Adobe Flash Player (11.9.900.170) but kept getting messages to "Download the free Flash Player Now."  (Style note to editors: beware of arbitrary capitalization.  Your high school English teacher would be disappointed.)

Shockwave is enabled.  Active X filtering is unchecked.

Using Internet Explorer 11 and Windows 7.

Here's something: when the Adobe website scans my computer it recognizes Flash Player as installed ("Congratulations! Your computer has the latest Flash Player installed").

Thanks!!

Well, it works with FireFox, so I'm assuming it's an IE issue.

Come to think about it, the problems began right around the same time IE went to version 11.

As you've figured out, this is a known problem with Internet Explorer 11, which Microsoft has been aware of since October 18 when they released their latest "untested" browser. The pages can't recognize the browser, so they don't recognize any of the plugins, like Flash Player. So far, Microsoft has made NO indication that they have any plan to fix it soon.
Microsoft's recommendation is to use Compatibility View for affected pages, and "pretend" you're using an different browser. Trouble with that is it has seen limited success at best, and you have to individually enable it for EVERY page that has problems.
I'm not big on "pretending" so I recommend actually using another browser.

Firefox (from Mozilla)

Opera (from Opera)

Safari (from Apple)

Chrome (from Google)

ANY of those will work where IE11 won't, with the Flash Player Plug-in (For all other browsers), and Chrome doesn't even need that because it has its own Flash Player plugin built in.

Not so fast.  It works better on FireFox--I can play some videos that I can't play on IE--but there are still applications (example: StatTracker application from Yahoo! Fantasy Basketball) that don't work on either IE or FireFox and give the same "you need to install Adobe Flash" message.

Grrrr!

Downloaded the Flash Player Plug-in (For all other browers) that you provided a link for and downloaded Shockwave Player 12 (Firefox).  Flash Player now seems to be working completely on FireFox (at least I can use Yahoo!'s StatTracker).  Thanks!!!

Still not working for IE 11.  Oh well.
