Flash Player Installed but not working

   I have tried for several weeks to get the Adobe Flash Player to work. The videos have a "You need Adobe Flash to Play This Video" message and "Download the Free Flash Player Now!" where the video should be displayed. I have tried this process a variety of times and continue to see this message. The "shockwave flash object" is enabled, there is no firewalls apparent, the computer says it is Windows 7 Professional with 64 bit. I have posted various questions on this forum under several user names, and have privately messaged people on this thing with no response.  I have read and read and read articles online suggesting ways to properly install this thing, and have not encountered the solution to this. I am unable to contact anyone directly from Adobe, and do not know what else to do. this is extremely frustrating and I just need this flash player to work and thats all. I have tried the test process that shows moving clouds on a background with a tree and it says if the clouds are moving then it is properly installed and they are moving. Please help PLEASE

installing, rebooting, saving it to the desktop and rebooting prior to installing, cursing, nothing works. It all started with an autoupdate of the Flash player to Flash 11. I am running I.E.11 on a Windows 7 machine. I am on AT&T Uverse with McAfee provided by the network provider. I have seen references to registry errors causing these problems, so I will try some type of registry scan/fix to see if that is the problem (if I can find one that doesn't cost $50 or come with 82 extra programs). This Flash player has really turned into a huge piece of s**t:(

This is a known problem with Internet Explorer 11, which Microsoft has been aware of since October 18 when they released their latest "untested" browser. The pages can't recognize the browser, so they don't recognize any of the plugins, like Flash Player. So far, Microsoft has made NO indication that they have any plan to fix it soon.
Microsoft's recommendation is to use Compatibility View for affected pages, and "pretend" you're using an different browser. Trouble with that is it has seen limited success at best, and you have to individually enable it for EVERY page that has problems.
I'm not big on "pretending" so I recommend actually using another browser.

Firefox (from Mozilla)

Opera (from Opera)

Safari (from Apple)

Chrome (from Google)

ANY of those will work where IE11 won't, with the Flash Player Plug-in (For all other browsers), and Chrome doesn't even need that because it has its own Flash Player plugin built in.
