When a person digitally signs my pdf form and then they hit submit, the signature will not show on my end. As a person filling out the form and they click on the Signature field, it automatically requires them to SAVE the form. Once they save the form, then the digital signature they created will show in the Signature box on their screen. They can then hit Submit to send the file to my accoount. The problem is that the form gets sent without their signature, so basically I cannot be sure they actually filled out the form. Why does this happen??
FormsCentral does not support Digital Signatures. The submission process does not handle a signature field in any way.
There isn't a method in our authoring environment creating a new form in FormsCentral to add a Signature field, and for an Imported PDF Form there is a warning if a signature field is discovered alerting the user that it will not be used.
