    Export file not found

I've read through various threads and tried their solutions, but none have worked so far.

I'm trying to build a BD folder using Encore CC, and I'm getting the error "Blu-ray Object: "short", Export file not found.  "short" is the name of a timeline.

At first, I had spaces in my filenames, and I was getting a slightly different error message.  Same error, with a different object name.

I renamed all my assets on the disk, relinked them in Encore, and even renamed all my menus and buttons, so now the only characters used are letters, numbers, and underscores.

I deleted everything in the Cache folder.

I have plenty of RAM and disk space.  I'm running OS X 10.9.

The "solution" I found is to delete all the assets and re-import them, but that sucks.  Some assets contain many chapters, with buttons, end actions, and chapter playlists set up, so it's time-consuming to redo all that work.  To minimize the work, I tried deleting/re-importing each asset one at a time, to see if it fixed the problem.  Each time, the error message was replaced with a new one, until I had finally replaced all assets.

I think the initial problem was due to spaces in the filename, and apparenlty Encore is incapable of relinking to files with different names.

The option worth trying is "replace asset" rather than deleting and reimporting - the latter guaranteed to lose all the info.

But Encore is not very forgiving when many changes are made. And a "do-over" is often the best option.

There is, of course, no "Encore CC" - just EN CS6. But the fact that you are running Mavericks and having the same sort of Encore errors that occur with various operating systems, and not basic program operating problems, is encouraging for Mavericks' users.

            Oops, you're right, Encore CS6.

I forgot to write above that I did try replacing assets first, which did not help.
