I have repeatedly downloaded the most recent version of Adobe Flash Drive. My computer program list indicates that it has been successfully downloaded. However when I am required by a vendor to use the product to make a purchase, etc. I get another prompt saying I must download the latest version of Adobe Flash Drive. My computer says that I have installed the program but I am unable to use the product. I have deleted the program repeatedly and attempted to download it again with the same results. Anyone else having the same problem or know what I can do about it?

Moved to Installing Flash Player.
BTW, there is no Flash Drive program. There is Flash Pro and Flash Player.

I'm guessing (since you didn't post it) that you're using Internet Exploder 11.

Sorry folks, I meant Flash Player. Don't know why I put in "Drive". I can't access the Flash Player and keeping getting a prompt that I need to down-load the latest version.

I'll reiterate... you're probably using IE11. Take this in:
This ("You need the latest version" - when you have it already) is a known problem with Internet Explorer 11, which Microsoft has been aware of since October 18 when they released their latest "untested" browser. The pages can't recognize the browser, so they don't recognize any of the plugins, like Flash Player. So far, Microsoft has made NO indication that they have any plan to fix it soon.
Microsoft's recommendation is to use Compatibility View for affected pages, and "pretend" you're using an different browser. Trouble with that is it has seen limited success at best, and you have to individually enable it for EVERY page that has problems.
I'm not big on "pretending" so I recommend actually using another browser.
ANY of those will work where IE11 won't, with the Flash Player Plug-in (For all other browsers), and Chrome doesn't even need that because it has its own Flash Player plugin built in.
