1. Re: Reader won't email filled-in form
Sabian Zildjian Dec 19, 2013 8:24 AM (in response to The Real Thorzdad)If your customers are using Reader 9 or Reader 10 then they can't save unless you Reader-Extend the form and that is a Save As in Adobe Acrobat Pro. If your customers download and use and user Reader 11 they should be able to save form data.

~graffiti Dec 19, 2013 8:24 AM (in response to The Real Thorzdad)Unless the users have Adobe Reader XI, you need to enable the document.
In Acrobat 9 Pro go to Advanced>Enable Usage Rights in Adobe Reader then save the document.
Reader cannot in itself edit documents that's why you see "allowed" in Acrobat but the Reader users don't. Once enabled, that will change.
That being said, I believe it's against the terms of the license to enable forms for clients. I think the owner of the form needs to own an Acrobat license. Also, there is a usage limit to these documents. The basics are that data can only be collected 500 times. You'll want to read up on the EULA and decide whether you are violating the terms for yourself.

~graffiti Dec 19, 2013 8:41 AM (in response to The Real Thorzdad)You're welcome. Again, check the EULA to be sure you are not violating the terms. There have been court decisions favoring Adobe on this one.
