    Reader won't email filled-in form

I recently built a pdf form for a client, using Acrobat Pro 9. It's a combination of text fields and check boxes. There is no security set on the form.

It opens just fine in Reader. A user can fill it in and check boxes. The problem comes when the user selects "Attach to email" When they click Attach, they get the following warning:

This document does not allow changes to be saved. Any changes you have made will not be included in the document when it is mailed.

I've double-checked the document in Acrobat Pro, and saving changes are allowed. Yet, when checking the security properties in Reader, several of the security settings are changed to Not Allowed. How does this happen?

Trying to Save As... gives me the same result. Changes will not be saved. Using SendNow Online is not a viable option for this client, and neither is Using EchoSign. Requiring customers to subscribe to a service just to email a form is ridiculous. They won't do it.

Of course, filling it out using a third-party pdf reader (like Apple's Preview) works fine and allows directly emailing of a filled-in pdf.

Sorry about the mini-rant. Can anyone help me get Reader to allow simply emailing a filled-in form?
