I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 which is not recognised by ADE, I cannot work out how to authorise the tab and have also asked Samsung.  The tablet has a pre loaded Kobo reader and I just want to be able to transfer books I already own onto the tablet.

I have also been unable to work out how to add my Adobe ID to the application within the tablet.

Try loading the Bluefire app and authorizing that.  That should be able to read any Adobe DRM books.

I don't know if the Kobo reader app should be able to work for any DRM book, or if it is limited to books bought from Kobo.

To copy books to the tablet, use file manager (Windows Explorer, Mac Finder) to copy to the device as a mounted drive.
