I just added a new NOOK to my ADE and although it shows and I was able to transfer public library books to my old NOOK, they will not transfer to the new one

Did you register/authorize the new Nook?
menu/Hlep/Authorize Device to ADE with the device plugged in (Library/Authroize Device on the older more reliable v1.7.2)

I have registered the NOOK- happily I had the idea to uninstall and
reinstall ADE and that fixed the problem
