digitaleditions 2.0 lässt sich nicht auf MacOsX installieren

Der Download funktioniert einwandfrei, aber beim Starten der Installation wird immer wieder abgebrochen Beim Suchen im Netz bin ich nur für Windows Rechner fündig geworden.

Wer hat einen Rat, damit ich auf meinem EReader endlich mal was lesen kann?

Ich habe jetzt auch mal die Version 1.7 probeweise installiert. Die hat das gleiche Problem.

Es gibt viele Fehler in ADE2.0 (und 2.0.1). Ersetzen Sie ADE2.0 mit dem älteren, aber zuverlässiger v1.7.2.

(Sie können sie beide auf einmal installiert, wenn Sie möchten.)

Version 1.7.2, ist es ein wenig schwierig zu finden, auf der Adobe-Website für Windows und für Mac.

Einige Leute haben versucht, ADE gefunden automatisch aktualisieren.

Es scheint (nicht 100% sicher), dass wenn man als ADE2.0 installieren eine neue Installation (nicht als Upgrade), die Ihren 1.7.2 läuft weiter.

Wahrscheinlich am besten, nein zu sagen, wenn 2.0.x Installation gefragt, ob Sie Ihre Bibliothek migrieren möchten.

There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0 (and 2.0.1).  Try replacing ADE2.0 with the older but more reliable v1.7.2.

(You can have them both installed at once if you like.)

Some people have found ADE trying to upgrade automatically. 

It appears (not 100% sure) that if you install ADE2.0 as a new install (not as an upgrade) that your 1.7.2 will continue to run.

Probably best to say no if 2.0.x installation asks if you want to migrate your library.

Für eine "reine" E-Reader-Gerät, erste ADE auf dem Computer installieren und registrieren / autorisieren, dann in der E-Reader-Gerät anschließen und authorze dass von ADE.

Für eine Tablette, installieren Sie eine kompatible App wie Bluefire, Aldiko oder Overdrive und genehmigen, dass mit Ihrer Adobe-ID. Sie dann die Übertragung von Dateien auf das Tablet als angebracht Platte mit Dateimanager (Windows Explorer)

You can't install ADE on an ereader.

For a 'pure' ereader device, first install ADE on the computer and register/authorize it, then plug in the ereader device and authorze that from ADE.

For a tablet, install a compatible app such as Bluefire, Aldiko or Overdrive and authorize that with your Adobe ID.  You then transfer files to the tablet as a mounted drive using file manager (Windows Explorer)

I'm afraid I can't think of anything else.

Looks like an osx oddity, but I don't think I've heard of this particular issue for anyone else.

by the way

I have just noticed an error in my Live Chat instructions on the other thread.

I said Choose a topic (any topic), and then click on 'I still need help';

It seems that some topics will lead to an offer of Live Chat, but some topics won't.

So just try topics until live chat is offered. 

'Signing into my Account' worked for me to offer live chat.
