I would like to be able to read DRM eubs on my Samsung Galacy Tab 3 tablet.

When I plug my tablet into the laptop and open Adobe digital editions it does not find the tablet.

If I plug in my KOBO reader it works fine

How can I get Adobe DE to find my tablet?

I am using aldiko reader on my tablet and have entered my adobe ID and it was accepted

The tablet should work find with Aldiko (or Bluefire).

However, you can't use ADE to transfer books.

Use your file manager (Windows Explorer, Mac Finder) to copy books from the computer to the tablet,

which should show up as a mounted drive in the file manager.

(You are luck it isn't an Apple; they make it much more difficult to transfer files)

I am using Aldiko and the adobe DRM ID has been entered and accepted so the program / device is adobe authorized.

When I copy a e-pub file from Adobe digital editions folder in my windows laptop the the e-book or Adobe doigital folder on my galaxy tab 3 then using aldiko to import the epub it wil not import it.

says can't open file

It sounds as if you have done the right things.  More questions/suggestions just to make sure

  1. You have used the same Adobe ID on both laptop and tablet?
  2. You can read the book on the laptop?
  3. Try using Bluefire rather than Aldiko:
I have heard in the past of some people having registration issues with Aldiko but can't remember the details.

The DRM epubs open fine with bluefire. The problem must be with Aldiko. I have emailed them but so far have not had a reply.Hopefully they will answer monday

Aldiko says it is registered fine with Adobe using the same ID as the laptop
