1. Re: More green color in parts of picture - how ?
Sulaco Jan 2, 2014 11:47 AM (in response to steenmikkelsen2)There's a couple of ways of doing this, here's one approach:
0. Add a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer.
1. Select the finger button and then click on the moss. This will tell Hue/Saturation what colour you want to change. Drag the Saturation slider to the right (or just drag on the image using the finger), this will increase the saturation of the moss but also other parts of the image. Make sure you exaggerate the effect, so it will be easier for you to fine-tune it.
2. You can drag the dark grey bit around to fine tune what colours of the spectrum your are adjusting. You can also move the falloff sliders to the left and right of the grey bit and fine-tune how the adjustment fades. Play around with this till you are reasonably happy with the result.
3. You can now use the mask on the adjustment layer to fine tune exactly where the adjustment is applied. Left click the mask on the layer so it gets selected. Now use the Paintbrush and paint with black to remove the effect where you don't want it.
You might have to play around with this for a bit until you are happy with the result.. -

Trevor.Dennis Jan 2, 2014 1:05 PM (in response to Sulaco)That's the way I would do it as well, but you could also make an Alpha channel with a copy of the blue channel. This is what ity looks like with nothing but a quich Levels adjustment, so it would be easy to carry on and make a near perfect mask
[EDIT] Seeing as the green is pretty much the only colour in the image, you could also invert the above alpha channel mask and use to desaturate the rest of the image. It's a win win.

steenmikkelsen2 Jan 2, 2014 2:12 PM (in response to Trevor.Dennis)First thank for your answer Sulaco, I use your solution with finn result.
Hi Dennis . after I have make a copy of the "Channels > Blue" but how do I move the copy of the blue channel to the layers as a "layer mask"?

4. Re: More green color in parts of picture - how ?
Sulaco Jan 2, 2014 2:19 PM (in response to steenmikkelsen2)Hold Ctrl (or CMD on Mac) and left click on the copied blue channel in the Channels panel. That will turn the channel into a active selection. Remove the layer mask from the Hue/Saturaion adjustment layer by draging it to the trashcan and then use the "Add layer mask" button.

I only did half the job assuming you'd know about alpha channels. Having dragged the blue channel to the new channel icon at the bottom of the channels panel, aply levels directly to the copy to get the best contrast. Then either paint out overspil with white, or do the same with brush mode set to Overlay.
I would also do the same as Salaco to load the selection, and in fact I have all the important panels open in a second monitor, which greatly streamlines workflow, but otherwise, you will find 'Blue channel copy' via Selection > Load selection.
If you load that selection before opening the Hue/Saturation layer, it will automatically fill the mask.
But Salaco is giving you good advice.
