I have a mac. It said my flash player was out of date, so I installed the update. It still said my flash was out of date. I restarted my computer. No dice. I uninstalled it, using the adobe uninstall software, restarted my computer, reinstalled it, and restarted my computer. Still not working. Please help. I missed a webinar I needed today because of it.
Thanks!

It will appear on your desktop and a small window will open.
Double click the installer. If you see a warning, click “Open” to let it run.
Click “I have read and agree… etc.” and click “Install”. Enter your password when asked.
You may see the following: click “Force Close All” if you do, and then click “Retry”.
The installer will run.
Choose your update preference, and click “Done”.
Open Safari again and click Safari>Preferences (Cmd+,)
Go to the Security tab. Make sure “Allow plug-ins” is checked.
That should be a COMPLETE "clean install" for OS 10.7.5, 10.8.5, or 10.9.1
