Flashplayer problems

I have tried and tried to get my Flashplayer working but to no avail. I even had a technician here and she updated the versions and still cannot get it to run. When viewing on internet or should I say, when TRYING to view, it keeps telling me to install Flashplayer even though its already installed. Please Help!!
