1. Re: Multicam Editing in Premiere CC Issue
Mark Mapes Jan 6, 2014 11:34 PM (in response to DavidROfficer6198)I'm no guru when it comes to multicam editing in the timeline, but I know of a couple of ways. The Rolling Edit tool lets you move the edit point between two cameras, and while doing so the Program Monitor shows the clips either in multicam mode or the Trim Mode's two-up display. You can also right-click a multicam segment and change the camera through the Multi-Camera submenu.
But before attempting these measures, please report exactly which version of CC is installed (as requested in your own thread: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5987867?tstart=0#5987867). If you're on 7.0.0, then the first thing to do is update.

srukweza Jan 7, 2014 1:09 AM (in response to DavidROfficer6198)But how do you see the two camera angles, editing with the timeline?
Adobe seems to have taken off this feature by having the multicamera in the program monitor. In CS6 you could nest the multicamera in the source monitor and by scrubbing the timeline you were able to see all the multicam angles in the source monitor. But now you can't!
Adobe gives with the right hand and takes with the left. They preach about new features but don't preach about the features which are being dropped. It's truly absurd!

Unless I misunderstand the question, you do this by putting the Program Monitor to Multi-Camera view.

In CC the feature is no longer there, but in CS6 you can scrub your timeline and still be able to see all the camera angles in the source monitor.

8. Re: Multicam Editing in Premiere CC Issue
JSS1138 Jan 7, 2014 7:05 PM (in response to srukweza)That ability is still there. You can open a multicam sequence in the Source Monitor and see all angles. And of course the same applies when the Program Monitor is set to Multi-Camera view.

DavidROfficer6198 Jan 7, 2014 7:09 PM (in response to JSS1138)Not in CC. I just dragged a multicam seqence to the source monitor and could only see the video on the highest track.

10. Re: Multicam Editing in Premiere CC Issue
Josh from Spokane Jan 7, 2014 11:13 PM (in response to DavidROfficer6198)You might have to drag the clips into the first n number of tracks to be able to see them all at once depending on the size of your screen. The black screens might just mean that track 2, 3, 4, etc are blank at that point in time.
Or, you could have discovered a new bug. But not the bug this thread is about.
Again, this thread is not about this issue. It's kind of an uncool move to keep pursuing it here because everyone who is subscribed keeps getting spammed with these emails.

That's not normal.

14. Re: Multicam Angles Missing
NikonDSLRVideo Feb 1, 2014 12:23 PM (in response to DavidROfficer6198)I was having the same issue (I've done many multi-cam edits, including with the new window setup in CC, but this one had me stumped). Even though I drug the source sequence into what would be my multicam sequnce, enabled the multi-cam, and then switched to the multi-cam program monitor I couldn't see the two source tracks. I could switch between them in the timeline, so I knew they were there - I just couldn't see them, select them, or record the multi-cam edit with them. I realized I had de-slected 'track-targeting' box (V1), and when de-selected, the multi-cam sources go blank. Selected - they appear. Happily it only took me 25 minutes to figure it out. Not sure if it is a bug or not, but a quirk for sure. Happy mult-camming.
