Authorization - connection fail

Hallo, ich versuche seit Stunden Adobe Digital Editions zu autorisieren. Es kommt jedoch immer die Fehlermeldung "Verbindungsfehler" - mein Internet funktioniert jedoch. Bitte um dringende Rückmeldung. Vielen Dank. lg Andrea

Zwei mögliche Lösungen ... Weder ist spezifisch auf die Probleme die Sie sehen , aber entweder könnte gut funktionieren. Viel Glück .

1) ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Manchmal ADE bekommt seine Registrierung / Aktivierung verwirrt und in einem semi- autorisierten Zustand .

Deinstallation und Neuinstallation hilft nicht , und zwar Installation kann auch diesen Zustand auszulösen.

Leider gibt es dann oft irreführenden Fehlermeldungen über das, was falsch ist.

Eine gemeinsame falsche Meldung informiert Sie , dass die ID ist bereits im Einsatz auf einem anderen Computer und kann nicht wiederverwendet werden.

Ein anderer ist " E_AUTH_NOT_READY "

Dies kann oft durch das vollständige Entfernen keine Genehmigung mit Strg -Shift -D in die Bibliothek -Bildschirm auf ADE (cmd -shift- D , wenn auf dem Mac ) gelöst werden.

Starten ADE und dann mit der (alten) Adobe-ID neu aktivieren .

In extremen Fällen auf dem Mac hat die folgenden zusätzlichen Schritt einige Leute geholfen. Navigieren Sie zu / Users / / Library / Application Support / Adobe / Digital Editions und ziehen Sie die Datei activation.dat in den Papierkorb . Es gibt viele Fehler in ADE2.0 ( und 2.0.1 ) . Ersetzen Sie ADE2.0 mit dem älteren , aber zuverlässiger v1.7.2 .

( Sie können sie beide auf einmal installiert, wenn Sie möchten. )

Version 1.7.2 , ist es ein wenig schwierig zu finden , auf der Adobe -Website für Windows und für Mac.

Einige Leute haben versucht, ADE gefunden automatisch aktualisieren.

Es scheint ( nicht 100% sicher ) , dass wenn man als ADE2.0 installieren eine neue Installation (nicht als Upgrade ) , die Ihren 1.7.2 läuft weiter .

Wahrscheinlich am besten , nein zu sagen , wenn 2.0.x Installation gefragt, ob Sie Ihre Bibliothek migrieren möchten.

Two possible solutions ...  Neither is specific to the problems you are seeing, but either might well work.  Good luck.

1) ~~~~~

Sometimes ADE gets its registration/activation confused and in a semi-authorized state.

Uninstalling and reinstalling does not help, and indeed installation can even trigger this state.

Unfortunately, it often then gives misleading error messages about what is wrong.

A common incorrect message informs you that the ID is already in use on another computer and cannot be reused.

Another is  "E_AUTH_NOT_READY"

This can often be resolved by completely removing any authorization using ctrl-shift-D to the Library screen on ADE (cmd-shift-D if on Mac).

Restart ADE, and then reauthorize with your (old) Adobe ID.

In extreme cases on the mac, the following extra step has helped some people.  Navigate to /Users//Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and drag the activation.dat file to the trash. There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0 (and 2.0.1).  Try replacing ADE2.0 with the older but more reliable v1.7.2.

(You can have them both installed at once if you like.)

Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.

Some people have found ADE trying to upgrade automatically. 

It appears (not 100% sure) that if you install ADE2.0 as a new install (not as an upgrade) that your 1.7.2 will continue to run.

Probably best to say no if 2.0.x installation asks if you want to migrate your library.

Hello, I have even read this answer many times here but unfortunately it is not helpful. I reveice always the following statement:

"Verbindungsfehler. Digital Editions konnte keine Verbindung zum Aktivierungsserver herstellen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie mit dem Internet verbunden sind."

My internet is still working. Thank you.

I have also installed the old version of Adobe Digital Editions but there I receive the error number 2032.

Some more things to try:

1. Temporarily turn off your firewall and retry the authorization.
2. If you are running a proxy, try turning it off to authorize.

3. Or resetting your IE internet settings (maybe pretty much the same as 2, or ?).

4. Double-check that your time, timezone and daylight savings settings are correct (I don't think these can cause this problem, but not sure and easy to check)
5. Temporarily turn off your antivirus, or at least any part of it that might relate to internet connections.

By chance somebody else just posted on an old thread.

Doesn't seem quite logical to me, but then ADE isn't.  It worked for him so worth a try.

I looked under accounts, as it was indicated that you should be logged in as an administator. Under the account details there are some setting wrt .net passport. I activited it for use with my computer, and suddenly ADE could also activiate and authorise.
