Database search

I am adding multiple databases along with server side scripting to pull and display information to cut down on my topics. Will Robohelp (version 4) still be able to search these databases or does it search topics only?

Hi flatk

RoboHelp will likely be blissfully unaware of anything inside the database. This is because the process of generating or compiling creates its own set of data used for searching. In other words, search is not dynamic.

So while you may easily cut down on your topics, you are also cutting down what your user is able to search for.
