In trying to open an e-book borrowed from the library I keep getting the ERROR MESSAGE "User not activated".  I can open and read this book on my PC via Adobe Digital Editions.  New Nook owner - any help?

You need to authorize the Nook with the same Adobe ID as your copy of ADE.

If the Nook is a tablet, this will be somewhere in the ereader app you are using on the Nook.

If it is a dedicated ereader, plug it into the computer by USB, run ADE and try menu/Help/Authorize Device.
