dparsons85 Jan 15, 2014 8:34 AM (in response to Dennis Weinmann)Yes, it has 30 seconds of color bars before the footage starts. I scrolled through the timeline and it doesn't detect any scene changes or frame changes even after the 30 second mark.

Fran Roig Jan 16, 2014 3:48 AM (in response to dparsons85)Hi,
Did you check the scroll bar (just down the white dotted line) to verify that there is no cuts in the scene?
You can also click the left and right arrow with the blue line.
Let me know if that helps.
Thanks,
Fran

5. Re: Scene Change Detection not working
dparsons85 Jan 16, 2014 10:30 AM (in response to Fran Roig)Yeah, I scrolled through but there was no change.
Since it worked on another file for me I decided to try a test and just export the first 2 minutes (same as source, ProRes 4444) to see if maybe SpeedGrade just didn't like the original file for some reason. That seemed to do the trick, here's what the test clip I exported looks like after running Scene Change Detection:
Much better! Not sure what the problem was before, maybe there's a length requirement? Do the clips have to be under 30 min? Don't know, but if you run into this problem just try re-encoding the file and running it again.
