Unable to download Flash Player to laptop

I can't install Flash Player to my laptop.  Everytime I try, in both Explorer and Chrome, I get this: Installation encountered errors, Actionlist not found.  What can I do? I have Windows 7 with Explorer 9 and just downloaded Google Chrome today with the latest version.

Thank you for the suggestion. It's still not installing. It stays in a

loop saying Installing but it never does. I even put the antivirus on

snooze. Are there any other options?
