Need help with flash player 12

Keeps telling me to install. have installed dozens of times. have uninstalled other versions as suggested. have checked add-ons and still won't work. What must I do?

Mike, Thank you for your help but I figured it out on  my own.

I found the problem in the menu bar under Tools. "ActiveX Filtering" was marked.

I removed the "X" and the program started working just fine.

I spent all  day trying to get it to work just to find out it was an "X" in the wrong place.

Haha!!
