So now I have NO flash player and have no idea how or if I can put back what I had. Can anyone help me? 1. Not to worry, the version for 10.5.8 (Intel) is here: Flash Player 10.3.183.90 (Mac only)
2. Being as your Mac is Intel powered, you can (and really should) upgrade to OS 10.6 which will allow you to run a LOT of software that 10.5.8 won't handle. It's only $19.99 through Apple and they ship free. http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard

THANK YOU!!!!!!!! I thought I was stuck because I couldn't update to OS 10.6.........As you can tell I am not really up on all this kind of stuff. So the first thing I do is upgrade to OS 10.6 and then I can update the flash player. I appreciate you taking the time to answer my question!

Hi Mike! I'm having a similar issue, but I would rather not upgrade to 10.6 at this time. Is there any way for me to upgrade to Flash 11.7 without upgrading to OSX 10.6?

In a word... "No".
11.7 REQUIRES and intel processor AND OS 10.6
It's an "Intel only" app and it WON'T run on a Universal Binary OS, which 10.5 is.
