Can you provide more details on where you purchased this book ?

How many devices have you tried to read this book on ?

Could you try on a different machine ?

Hi,

I too have the same error code, and I too would like an answer. I have, in addition, lost the ability to open any of the DRM books which have been on my machine for months or even years.

I am using Digital Edition v2, with Windows 7. My Sony reader software tells me that my computer is not registered, the Adobe software tells me I am registered, but that the license for each book is corrupted.

I have tried to download a second copy of one of the DRM books, and that is when I received the error message. I bought all of the books from Waterstones and have downloaded the books only once.

Hi,

I found a solution which has now allowed me to read the books on my computer. I de-authorised my desktop computer, then re-authorised it using my Adobe ID and password.

To do this I pressed ctrl+shift+d which brought up the de-authorisation option in Digital Editions. Then I closed Digital Editions, and restarted it and chose the option to re-authorise the desktop computer.

Quite why the sony desktop software was affected I do not know.

Hope this helps.

Worked for me on a similar authorisation error (bad server response), probablly because my ADE is authorised on computer, but was showing as not. So I was trying to authorise an authorised device... This deleted current authorisation I I just re-authorised and all good so far

Me sale:

Hi, friend:

Try install 3.0 or 2.0 at http://www.adobe.com/support/digitaleditions/downloads.html <http://www.adobe.com/support/digitaleditions/downloads.html>

Then, CMD + MAIUSC + D and deautorize ID

Tell me if ADE work and you can download files. I’m working, but it don’t work.

Gratefully
