Hi Folks,

i´m concerning about an update that i recently downloaded from:

https://get3.adobe.com/de/flashplayer/update/plugin/

with the following downloadlink:

https://get3.adobe.com/de/flashplayer/download/?installer=Flash_Player_12_for_Other_Browsers&os=XP&b...

it took a time to download it and afterwards i saw that the file occupied about 800mb!

Now i checked the same link another time and it resulted to be another file with only  1mb!

it seems to me like its a fake?

Thank for you help!

System is Win XP home

Browser Firefox 26.0

Flash plugin version 12.0.0.43

IS legitimate. It's the download site for Flash Player.

I have no idea how the download got to 800Mb. The "stub" installer is 1mb and it downloads a 17mb file for the full installer.

I don't use the "updater" myself. I prefer to use the FULL offline installers for my updating:

Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)

Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
