Is there an iPad Compatibility Chart?

    BSisson Community Member

I am trying to build a rather large Form for use on tablets with Acrobat XI and have been told that some features of the resulting PDF's are not supported on the Ipad (iOS) Reader application.

Before I abandone the iPad as a deployment platform, is there a chart, matrix or document somewhere that describes what features are NOT supported in the Ipad reader?

I don't need everything, and many of the fancy email/jquery/web features I don't need...but I do need some basic Jscript stuff to make the form work the way I want it to.

Most everything I need is string manpulation (adding two fields together and stuffing them into another, sorting an array of text elements, basic logic and math,  and saving the current form back to the tablet)

I orriginally posted this in the READER section, but got no responses.

      Thanks

          Bob,

I do not believe that there is a list of features that iOS Reader does not have. Any such list would be a moving target since Adobe has been improving and adding features with each new version.  I do not believe that at this time expecting Javascript to work or work well would be appropriate. I would recommend you use web-based forms as you can be sure it will work on many different devices for the least amount of effort.
