Screen contrast is too dark when watching videos from CBS.

When watching video from TV networks that use adobe flash the screen is too dark.  If I adjust the screen to view the video then the desktop is washed out (too bright).  How to I get them balanced?

Running IBM laptop with Intel HD graphics card with windows 7 pro.
