1. Re: Is "app.alert" not supported in Android Reader?
GKaiseril Feb 3, 2014 1:30 PM (in response to BSisson)"app.alert()" is a JavaScript method.
Does the iDevice or android support JavaScript?
A lot will depend upon the app being used and were the script is placed.

2. Re: Is "app.alert" not supported in Android Reader?
BSisson Feb 3, 2014 1:37 PM (in response to GKaiseril)Yes, I have a rather complcated LOOP (for loop) and conditions for which is running well, but "app.alert" is ignored.
The script was placed in the Button Action Mouse-up, run Javascript....
I tried a simple "Box on screen" test.
One Box on a page, in the Button Action Mouse-up, run Javascript.... I put the single line 'app.alert("Hello World");'
Runs fine on my PC.
On the Android the box toggles fine, but no Alert.
so far I have determined that "numFields" and "getNthFieldName" also fail.

5. Re: Is "app.alert" not supported in Android Reader?
George_Johnson Feb 3, 2014 2:58 PM (in response to BSisson)You will find there's a lot of Acrobat related JavaScript that not supported by Adobe Reader for Android/iOS. I think the PDF viewer with the most support on Android is qPDF Notes Pro.

BSisson Feb 3, 2014 2:57 PM (in response to George_Johnson)Just loaded qPDF.
It ran my Proof_of_concept version completely. Even the error handler.
