Why does flash player update link NOT lead to update?

When I try to follow the automatic product update in Safari, it leads to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ - when I click to download, it leads to the home page - not an update.  This happens from every direction I try to approach through website as well.  Is this a bad link or ?  Very experienced user / Mac Pro 10.9.1

Flash Player 12.0.0.47 (Mac OS X)

Safari and IE are BOTH doing this. Don't know why, but it started with the FP 12 update.
