We're on CC Enterprise/Team, not sure which exactly, the apps are pushed out to us which is fine, but if I need to update or reinstall I'm stuck. Everything in the help menu that says "Update" is grayed out. I've contacted our IT department and they have no answers as to why no luck with updating, CC seems to have created a lot of questions for them too.
If anyone could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

If the updates are disabled while creating the package, then the update option would be greyed out in the help menu.
