I'm running Windows 7Pro 64bit and my program "Lumosity" persistently asks me to download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player before it will let me "Start Training", and when I download it I still get the same version, and I can expect my program to ask me to download it again tomorrow. Why? When I see the Adobe Flash Player on the Adobe website it says the download will be 16.2mb but when I look at programs under my control panel it says the I have Adobe Flash Player 12 ActiveX  Size 6.00 MB Version 12.0.0.38, why is that different than what is shown to be downloaded from Adobe? How do I get the 16.2mb version? Thanks.

The download is about 16-18mb.

The actual plug-in is about 500kb.

2.jpg

The actual files for Flash Player (OCX and DLL files) are about 45-54mb.

There are three dfferent "latest" versions for Windows.

12.0.0.38 - ActiveX for IE

5.jpg

12.0.0.43 - Standard plug-in for other browsers

6.jpg

12.0.0.41 - PepperFlash for Chrome.

Now, you're not expected to know all that, but in my troubleshooting here all week long, I am.
