I'm having trouble playing a vendor's CD because of compatibility with latest version of Flash Player. Is there any way to downgrade to version 11.9.900.117 or earlier?

Yes, this is possible.  I would recommend using our latest 11.7 release which contains all of the most current security updates.

How do I revert to a previous version of Flash Player?

When I extract the zip files, these are the only two things that appear:

Do you have further instructions or know what I can do from here? I’ve tried both IE and Firefox. I’m getting quite frustrated!

Opening the 11.9.900.117 zip file, you should see two folders:

11_9_r900_117 and 11_9_r900_117_debug

YOU want the first one, NOT the debug

Inside that are several files. YOU want:

flashplayer11_9r900_117_win.exe and flashplayer11_9r900_117_winax.exe

The first is for Firefox, the second for Internet Explorer

The very first thing you want to run though, is uninstall_flashplayer11_9r900_117_win.exe

to remove your current install(s) of Flash Player.

THEN run the installers.

I only see “catalog” and “library.swf”  There are no other folders/files. I’ve tried downloading from both IE and Firefox. It shouldn’t be this hard to do!!

Please help. Any other suggestions?

Right click that and "Save target as" (IE) or "Save Link as" (Firefox) - DO NOT attempt to download it from your e-mail (especially Outlook)

You should see 156mb downloading.

If not, your Antivirus is probably tearing it apart.

Oh, DON'T reply directly from your e-mail, please... It posts ALL your personal information in a PUBLIC forum where ANYONE can access it. NOT SAFE.
