No I downloaded, other members including photoshop and lightroom.
I'm not sure that matters with Bridge CC though its more independant than before.I have also tried uninstalling/reintstalling. No luck

PECourtejoie Feb 14, 2014 4:25 AM (in response to kmartin8)Hi!
For those having the issue that prefer not to manually change the permissions, the latest Creative Cloud application update, 1.4.1.351, fixes the permission problem that causes Bridge to shutdown directly after startup on OSX 10.9.x

7. Re: Bridge CC "operation could not be completed"
freestyle-acat Apr 15, 2014 8:55 PM (in response to kmartin8)This worked for me.
I created a new account, logged into new account, got Bridge to launch.
I compared the working and non-working account and found that the working account has a .adobe file that the non-working file didn't have.
This .adobe file is a hidden file so I used Terminal to copy it and change permissions like this.
Log into machine with admin account. In Terminal (I did this on a Mac):
- sudo -s (and then entered password for the admin account)
- cp -R /Users/newUser/.adobe /Users/oldUser/ (this copies the folder and its contents)
- chown -R oldUser .adobe (this gives the correct permission to the folder and its contents)
I then logged back in as the oldUser and launched Bridge with no problems.
