I have downloaded and installed the latest Flash Player, but it isn't working. I have checked my security preferences and I have allowed popups and plugins.

Just the update. I have never had any issues with updates before. I am experiencing the same problem on both my desktop and laptop (both Mac OS/Safari).

You're STILL using the GUI Updater.

Don't....

Use the "Offline Installer" Flash Player 12.0.0.44 (Mac OS X)

Download it, and mount the DMG.

DO NOT run the installer, but right click it and "Show Package Contents".

Then, in Contents/ Resources, double click the Adobe Flash Player.pkg file.

That'll run the COCOA installer (like OS 10.2- 10.4 used to use) and it WILL install.
