mac adobe flash player wont load 12.0 verision

Hi Im not very computer literate, but I play games on facebook and they are requireing me to update to the latest 12.0 version, Problem is, when I load it, it tells me its 10.3 version and wont let me play the games. How can I get the 12.0 version to load? Ive tried everything! Help!

You may have two different versions of the Plugin-in in the Internet Plug-ins directory.  Please perform a clean install using the following instructions.
