Installing

Adobe reader and flash player will not load on my windows 7.  It has been on this computer previously, but now says windows cannot access the specified device path or file and I may not have permission to access .  HOw can I correct this?  I

for flash player, uninstall - http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

then manually download and install: 

Flash Player for ActiveX  (Internet Explorer): http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/support/install_flash_player_ax.exe

Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers):  http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/support/install_flash_player.exe

For Adobe Reader, use the cleaner tool http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html then download and run the installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
