TheHausOfMarsian Feb 11, 2014 4:35 PM (in response to shooternz)When I played the tape on the camera only that the video was continuous but that there were breaks in the sound.
There were no stops, just breaks in the audio track.
Is it still possible to import like this in one continous piece?
I started importing about 20 minutes of tape and it broke it into 160 clips (even though it was a continuous shot).
(I am checking other tapes now to see if the same thing is happening)I only have one miniDV camera, but is it possible this would not happen if I used a different camera or miniDV deck?
Any other ideas?

TheHausOfMarsian Feb 11, 2014 5:02 PM (in response to shooternz)Ok - I am 15 min into importing a different (2nd) minDV tape without this problem (so far), which leads me to believe that there may be a timecode problem with the first tape.
If there is a timecode problem with the 1st tape, is it at all possible to import it without interruptions? To in essense ignore the existing timecode and create a new one during the import??
