Thanks, but how exactly does Encore burn an MVC file?
This is the PPro forum, you need to ask Encore questions in that forum http://forums.adobe.com/community/encore
If that is, the answer is not contained in any of the links I posted in reply #1 (since one of the links was about Encore)
I do not do 3D so have no direct experience... only those 3 saved links
one of the links was about Encore
I did not rewatch the entire 60 minute video that Kevin links to in your "Encore" link, but I do not think Dave deals with Encore at all. My understanding is that the method used for Encore is not MVC, but is to create a side by side 3D file (which Dave does deal with using the Cineform plug in), and this produces a "regular" H.264 file that Encore happily burns on a Bluray disk. Encore does not know it is 3D. But some TVs sense it is side by side, or you can tell them it is.
My curiosity; what is the latest for PR CS6 and CC for 3D editing. Still cineform?
Though I got my hands slapped for even mentioning 3D editing, in about PrPro CS 5.5, I have to say that I have seen nothing new on the 3D front, since the older CineForm tutorial. Maybe I just missed it?
Will be interesting to see if Adobe has made any changes lately - calling Mark Mapes, or Kevin Monahan.
